The main part of our evenings is showing photographs. This is an excellent way for authors to get feedback and an opportunity to learn how to present their work.

100 cafés—100 photographs.

For the anniversary we are preparing an exhibition of a hundred photographs. These are the works of authors who have shown their projects at our meetings over the years. A hundred individual photographs, a hundred different stories, and an overall portrait of the CAFE del PHOTO community.

"FUR"

The movie "FUR" which was in the program of the very first café. A good reason to remember where it all began and to celebrate our hundredth meeting together.

"Fur" is an imaginary story about Diane Arbus in 1950s New York. She has not yet become a famous photographer, and meeting an unusual neighbor helps her see people—and her own path in photography—in a new way. This is a film about creative awakening, not an exact biography. It is an imaginary portrait.

Program

Gathering at 18:00 on October 3, exhibition opening.

Whoever comes later will miss the opening and the most interesting part. 100 photographs from 16 authors. It's going to be huge. And so the evening doesn't feel too dull, each guest brings some kind of treat—well, everyone knows we treat each other to goodies (be creative in choosing your treats, otherwise everyone's tired of cakes). Well, if you make a wonderful "fur coat" (shuba) salad again, or wonderful pancakes, you'll prove yourself invaluable. Communication, meeting new people, exchanging the latest life stories, fresh gossip and so on.))) And this is important, it's interesting and it's useful. So, an hour to gather, meet, get acquainted, talk, and exchange news.

The film screening begins. After we've had our fill of the exhibition, we go watch the film.

22:00

This evening we won't be showing photographs, because we have an exhibition you can't tear yourself away from. We return once again to our gallery, where we'll keep talking among 100 photographs.

23:00

Our games begin. If there are still people interested, of course, we'll play! So "CodeNames," "Explosive Kittens," "BEARS vs CHILDREN," UNO, DIXIT and other games await us. By the way, if you have an interesting game, bring it along and let's play.

Now about the rules. Each café costs from 50 lei per visitor, or more if you wish; this time it would be nice to round it up to 100 lei, as a symbolic gesture. Whoever cares, throw in 50, just twice)))) Drop some money into a glass cube—you'll recognize it the moment you see it, no mistaking it. Just one big request: write to us in the form below to let us know you're coming, we need to prepare seats and make sure you'll be there. If someone can donate more, then thank you, because the money will go to a good cause.

If you've never been to one of our events and you're worried you won't know anyone, forget those worries—within half an hour you'll already know everyone and you'll have at least 3 best friends for life)))) Of course, you can bring along a friend, girlfriend, husband, wife, father, mother, grandmother, grandfather—the main thing is that the person doesn't bore the atmosphere))) creative people are interesting.
