Join photographer Solli Kanani for five days shooting the iconic lavender fields around the Valensole plateau in Provence, France. You'll photograph the fields at sunrise and sunset, visit the medieval village of Gordes and the market town of Riez, and tour a traditional lavender distillery. Along the way you'll receive hands-on guidance, talks and image reviews to help refine your composition and post-processing skills.
Day-by-day plan
Day 1 (June 27) – Welcome to Provence: Arrival at Nice airport, transfer to the Valensole area, briefing, and the first sunset photo shoot in the lavender fields. Days 2-4 (June 28-30) – Photographing the Lavender: Sunrise and sunset shoots in the lavender fields, visits to the villages of Gordes and Riez, a lavender distillery tour, plus talks, image reviews and editing guidance. Day 5 (July 1) – Last Light & Journey Home: Final sunrise shoot, wrap-up, and transfer to the airport. Digital Follow-up – A few weeks after the tour, an online session with feedback on your images.
