Discover one of Europe's most dramatic mountain landscapes, with limestone peaks soaring towards 3,000 metres, golden alpine meadows and crystal-clear lakes. The tour visits iconic locations such as Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Alpe di Siusi, Lago di Braies and South Tyrol's famous mountain churches, all captured in the warm autumn light. The group is led by photographers Melvin Nicholson and Chris Frost, who provide personalised photography tuition throughout the trip.
Day-by-day plan
Day 1 (Sat, Oct 10): Arrival at Marco Polo Airport, Venice; transfer to Ortisei; evening shoot at St Johann Church and Santa Maddalena Church. Day 2 (Sun, Oct 11): Sunrise at the Chapel of San Maurizio; Seceda mountain; sunset at Baita Segantini and Passo Rolle. Day 3 (Mon, Oct 12): Full day exploring Alpe di Siusi with the Sassolungo range as backdrop, through to sunset. Day 4 (Tue, Oct 13): Passo Pordoi; Cappella della Visitazione at Passo Falzarego; Passo Giau; sunset at Lago di Misurina. Day 5 (Wed, Oct 14): Morning at Lago di Braies; afternoon hike to Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Rifugio Locatelli for sunset. Day 6 (Thu, Oct 15): Sunrise at Lago di Misurina; Malga Ra Stua waterfalls; final sunset at Lago Antorno. Day 7 (Fri, Oct 16): Transfer to Marco Polo Airport for the flight home.

Six nights en-suite double/single-use accommodation with breakfast, 1-2-1 photography tuition from two tour leaders, airport pickup/drop-off at Marco Polo Airport Venice, transport in two nine-seater minibuses, all cable car/gondola fees, all toll road charges.
