The Ciucaș Mountains offer foggy mornings, colorful sunsets with spectacular lenticular clouds, golden blizzard light and fairy-tale snow. The group stays at Cabana Vârful Ciucaș in double rooms with private bathrooms, reached by the hosts' 4x4 vehicles. The tour welcomes photographers of any experience level and includes guidance on using photo gear, composition, panoramic photography and post-processing techniques.
Day-by-day plan
Day 1: Meeting at the parking area at the foot of the Ciucaș Mountains (Cheia village, Prahova county); 4x4 transfer up to Cabana Vârful Ciucaș; check-in and first sunset photo session. Day 2: Sunrise photo session (misty mornings); free time to explore; sunset photo session, with possible lenticular clouds and golden light. Day 3: Morning photo session in the snow; 4x4 transfer back down to the parking area and departure home.
