Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated — in comments, the forum, contest entries, and everywhere else on the Site. Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, and discrimination have no place here. Disagreeing with an opinion or a rating is fine; attacking the person behind it isn't.
Upload only photos you took yourself, or that you otherwise hold the rights to publish. Passing off someone else's photo as your own, or re-uploading work you found elsewhere without permission, isn't allowed — it will get the photo removed and may get your account suspended.
fotoclub.md is a general-audience photography community. Don't upload sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or anything illegal. Artistic nude and glamour photography can have a place in a photography community, but keep it tasteful and clearly say so in the title or description — when in doubt, ask an admin before posting rather than after.
Don't use uploads, comments, the forum, classifieds, or event/phototrip listings to advertise unrelated products or services, or to flood the Site with repetitive content. Classifieds and commercial photography services each have their own dedicated place for that — use them.
Rate photos on their merit. Using multiple accounts to inflate your own scores, or coordinating with others to manipulate ratings or contest voting, undermines the whole point of a community rating system and won't be tolerated.
Keep discussion on-topic and constructive. You can remove your own comment within a few minutes of posting it; after that, only an admin can take it down. Forum threads can be locked or removed by an admin when a discussion has run its course or gone off the rails — that's not a judgment on you personally.
Only post real, accurate listings — a classified for something you're actually selling, buying, or offering, an event or trip you're actually organizing or attending. Classified listings expire automatically 30 days after posting; repost if it's still relevant.
Admins and moderators can remove content, lock or delete threads, and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules — including for anything not explicitly listed above but that clearly works against the spirit of a respectful, genuine photography community. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent ban.
