The Human Experience
A juried exhibition by PhotoPlace Gallery exploring the richness, complexity, and diversity of human life through photography.
PhotoPlace Gallery invites photographers to submit work exploring what it means to be human, welcoming portraits, street photography, documentary work, current affairs, family, labor, culture, identity, community, and related subjects. Juror Meredith Fleischer will select up to 35 images for exhibition in the gallery's Middlebury, Vermont space and 40 for its Online Gallery, with all 75 selected works reproduced in an exhibition catalog and featured permanently online. The contest is open to a broad interpretation of the human experience, in both documentary and conceptual styles.

Rotterdam Photo 2027: Vibrance
An international open call inviting photographers worldwide to present projects and single images in Rotterdam's public space during Rotterdam Art Week 2027.
Rotterdam Photo 2027, themed 'Vibrance – The Pulse of a Living World', accepts photographers and image-makers worldwide aged 16+ through two international routes (Projects and Single Image), plus a free Dutch Talent Project Grants route restricted to applicants based in, studying in, or educated in the Netherlands. Selected projects receive dedicated exhibition space in a container village, while selected single images are produced as large-scale outdoor PVC installations; five Dutch Talent grantees receive €3,000 production grants. The festival runs March 17–21, 2027, during Rotterdam Art Week and reports over 10,000 visitors.

CPA International Juried Exhibition 2026
An annual international juried photography exhibition hosted by the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California, open to photographers worldwide.
The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) is excited to announce the 2026 International Juried Exhibition with over $6,000 in awards! Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited from December 6, 2026 through January 3, 2027 in the CPA's historic gallery in Carmel, California, and vie for eight cash awards totaling more than $6,000. These photographs will also be featured in an online gallery on the CPA website along with an additional forty-five juror selected images. An entry discount is available for new and current CPA members.
