Gomma Photography Grant 2026

The acclaimed and renonwned photography grant contest from Gomma. The ninth year in the making. High international exposure and funding.

For thirteen editions, the Gomma Grant has built a reputation for supporting photographers with personal, uncompromising and independent visions, particularly work that exists outside the conventional boundaries of contemporary photography. We continue to look for photography that takes risks, develops its own language and has something genuinely personal to say.The Gomma Grant is one of the world’s most independent and artist-driven photography awards. Created by Gomma Publishing Ltd, it celebrates photographers who defy conventions and explore authenticity, depth, and vision in their work. Since its foundation, the Gomma Grant has become a reference point for both emerging and established photographers seeking honest recognition outside corporate or institutional systems. Each year, the Grant highlights powerful bodies of work — projects that challenge trends, provoke thought, and open new visual dialogues. What we value: – Authentic and personal storytelling – Visual coherence and emotional impact – Craftsmanship, courage, and originality – Work that carries meaning and vision beyond aesthetics
