American Road “America’s 250th Road Trip Dreams” Photo Contest 2026

A free-to-enter photo contest from American Road magazine celebrating vacation photography and memorable road-trip experiences across the United States.

Open to entrants aged 12 and older (minors need documented parental permission), the contest seeks a single standout vacation photograph tied to the theme of American road trips, from scenic byways and historic sites to roadside attractions and travel companions. There are no separate entry categories; all images are judged under one open theme. Residents of Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria, as well as employees of American Road magazine and their families, are not eligible.
